I was going to suggest a possible wiring problem where the ring and tip were possibly switched, but sounds like you got it sorted.

The fishman powerchip system has “smart switching” so it makes a “little” sense that the switch wiring might be different.

Somehow it can tell via impedance if you have the ring and sleeve or just the sleeve and switch the signals accordingly. In my recollection sometimes people have problems with that working properly and/or messing up other pedals.

I think you can use another jack listed in the wiring section here without any big mods from stock.

Acoustiphonic system schematic

Was wondering if anyone has a schematic of the Acoustiphonic system, not the wiring diagram that is provided, but an actual SCHEMATIC of the board itself.

I requested one from Graph Tech, but they have not responded.

I am curious to know exactly what they are doing with the circuit. I'm seeing some odd voltages on the output jack when on, or off. It works, but I'm skeptical of something I can't verify.
