I have a Parker p40 that is very broken as it no longer has its piezo preamp. It’s re-wired and now I don’t know what to do to fix it. If someone can assist me I can discuss this in further detail.

Going by the manual, the P-40 uses the same Fishman Powerchip circuitry as the USM-era Fly and NiteFly, which you can still order through any Fishman dealer. Are you intending to rewire it yourself, or have a tech do it once you have the parts and diagram?

It seems like the “NiteFly SSH Active” diagram sketch attached near the bottom of this post would be a good starting point: viewtopic.php?t=48

^^^THIS!^^
Best thing about the powerchip is that you can still get it! You could wire up any guitar to the standard USM fly electronics pretty cheaply.

Thank you for the help but I need help on something else. Where to get the power chip and making sure it’s the correct one. Most of the power chips I’ve found are knobs, but the chip on the original guitar had a switch. Any advice on that?

That’s the currently produced iteration of the Powerchip, which has the volume pot attached for the sake of taking up a smaller footprint in the control cavity. If you still have the original piezo volume pot in the guitar, the new preamp/pot will replace it. If you want the older version specifically, I suggest emailing Fishman to ask if there are any of the old preamps available. Posting a classifieds listing here may draw out someone with an older Powerchip to sell you theirs, as well.

This PDF explains how the current Powerchip will be wired into your guitar circuit:
