Duncan Set

Have something Parker-related to sell? Post about it here. Three things you need to know:
1. This area is for Parker Guitars and related accessories only
2. Post a clear asking price

Duncan Set

Post by KenanJ »

Hey guys!

I'm looking for a duncan set to try out in one of my pre refined parker, I'm not in a rush I'm just writing you here to know if someone has a spare set.

I'm located in France, but I think shipping pickups is not that crazy expensive considering its size.

Anyways if you have a spare set hit me up :)

Thank you in advance.

Cheers.

So I tend to prefer Duncan’s too. But, the mounts for prerefined are spaced a lot differently for dimarzios. Duncan’s only have a single row of screwposts so you’d need to add an insert or do some clever double stick taping. The inserts are not readily available so there’s that to think about. I made a bunch a while back but I’m out right now.

You can otherwise use any Duncan that is not high output (so not too tall) but you’ll also have to trim the ears and corners for it to fit.

Some choices that I know will work are the jazz, Jb, screaming demon,Duncan custom, and custom custom. I’m sure there’s others but these I’ve tried.

Mmmguitar has posted some great info here about pickup installs. He’s a treasure!
