"The piezo pickup still work so the guitar is playable." What a weird way to justify the asking price for a guitar needing electronic repair (and what's with the black stuff sprayed in the cavity over the assembly?). Still, were I in the market for a '94 Deluxe, this would be tempting.

I would have been all over that beater Classic two years ago. Just in case we see it elsewhere, soon: Its serial is 097028BMH, Transparent Cherry, with disconnected piezos and holes from a GK pickup mount. Control layout is vol/tone/selector toggle/series-split toggle.
