what exact Floyd model is in the PDF60?

Post by ubik55 »

I have one of the black PDF60 models with a Floyd Rose. I just wanted to check with you guys, is this the Floyd Rose Special? I ask because I need a new saddle, am having some serious G String slippage issues from the bridge.

@ubik55 The bridge plate of a special should say “Floyd Rose Special” next to the low E, as photographed in this listing:

Did you ever determine whether your guitar with the shaved-down headstock is a DF422FR, or is there a “PDF60” stamped on it?

Oh wow you're right, it is a Special. Thanks, and good to know OFR saddles will fit. Seems like my string slippage issue is common on trems made with zinc alloy.
