Looking for a Deluxe, Classic, or Mojo

Have something Parker-related to sell? Post about it here. Three things you need to know:
1. This area is for Parker Guitars and related accessories only
2. Post a clear asking price
3. This site assumes no responsibility in these transactions

Not a problem; Ken wrote great post on frets in the Ken’s Corner section, and I believe he made some recommendations, but I and others have used Zapp CA glue (in the pink bottle) with success.

Since you’re taking this to your tech, may as well as him to check the saddles for burrs. The original saddles were stainless steel, and the later ones were not, so the strings could have just worn a small groove in them; not the worst thing, and your tech could certainly smooth out and “catching” points.

Thanks again! The report back, was that there were some high frets.. so to get it in tip top shape, we're going to Plek it, because we have no clue who owned it before me, and what the heck they did... with that said the nut has been replaced with a factory nut (new old stock, and we're going to Plek it so that it has the lowest action possible for my tastes without any buzz, and final set up by my tech.

I'll report back once I get it with pics.

Few days.. fingers crossed!!

Sounds like a good approach! In principle, the Fly’s frets-on-composite approach should be close to perfection, but, of course, that’s not always the case...especially with the previous owner using a custom titanium slide 😆

Right?! Might as well.. because I've always wanted a Parker, since 13, I'm now 33. So it's my "baby" sort to speak.

I'm still determined to get a Dusty Black Classic, deluxe or Mojo!!

Love it.. feels surreal to finally own a Parker Fly.
