Here's a source for replacement nylon trem bushings on Reverb. I've purchased a few from him and they work perfect.

Hi,

The Vibrato Arm Bushing for my Supreme broke. I ordered a replacement from https://www.shapeways.com/product/HLJHG ... =161349588. The Vibrato Arm does not fit. It is too loose. I haven't found any other resource on the net where I could order a replacement(Some sites on ebay but they don't deliver outside the USA). Is there any possibility to get the file for the 3D printer so that I could get it printed from a friend of mine ?

Hi @DT,

Sorry to hear that the Shapeways item did not work for you. Please message me offline if you’d like to discuss that particular situation further. We are still working through refining the model.

I’d recommend reaching out to Mike Gallenberger at Gman.music on Reverb or wiguitar on eBay to see if the part you need is available in his stock. I believe he does have several of those parts available.

What's the OD of the refined vibrato arm? I have one coming and I'd like to machine a bushing for it before it arrives

Thank you!

Just bought a 1997 Fly Deluxe. The trem arm is extremely loose but I can’t find a wrench to fit it. Any advice?

Hi @Jayrod99; yes, the set screw in the back of the bridge is likely loose, so you will want to use a 3/32” hex tool to tighten it. There’s a link on the parts list page. Good luck, and welcome!!

Hi

My vibrato insert broke few months ago and i’m still looking for replacement.. I ordered original piece from US but the package got lost. I can’t find any seller that offer the shipping to UE. Do you guys know where should I look for help? Or maybe you can help me in any way? Please message me or respond to this post.

Thanks,
Bartek from Poland.

You should be able to find something like this locally

www.amazon.com/Black-Nylon-Spacer-Thick ... ast_sto_dp

Double check the Id and OD, and get something close to 18-20 mm long.

If needed, get a smaller ID and drill it to desired size.

The model is probably ok. 3D print tolerances are not the same as injection molded tolerances. I love 3D printing but this part has some heavy demands and probably wouldn’t last long, even in nylon or carbon reinforced filaments.

I like this idea. I got a bunch of these and drilled them to accept different size bars. I much prefer a thicker bar.

Okay, thank you all for help :)

I have one humble request - could you write down exact parameters (OD,ID,etc) the spacer should fulfill?

And, if anyone used the spacer in the guitar - does it work? Is it easy to remove it from the bridge?

Thanks,
Bartek from Poland.

Forgot one thing - the status of tremolo bushing is MODELED.
So there is a 3D model of that part?
My friend has 3D Printer and with a model I could print it..

Hi @BartekSkrzek, yes, we have the part modeled, but we don't yet have a plan/timeline for verifying and releasing the models or parts made from the models, sorry to say.

Are there no sellers online that will ship to you?

Is there still no 3D-model available? I have a P44V with the trem arm bushing broken. It would be really nice if one could 3d-print one of them. With a model I could try to print it myself. I live in Germany and I just can't get one of these replacement parts shipped here.

See here; however, typical 3D-printed filaments are not usually strong enough to be reliable.
