Re: NGD: Parker Supreme

Daddy Happy! Look, all neck thru flys are better than anything else out there...but when you got a supreme, you can feel a little more "power"? Don't mind it's a little heavier, kinda prefer it sometimes. It's a beast, and may beat out my favorite Gold Deluxe! I might be buried with this ...

Re: Fly 2001 questions

I also found the pickup change to be difficult and handled it by adding a black toggle cover which increases the length of the toggle by about 5mm. The result is the toggle is MUCH easier to find and toggles also much easier. I no longer run into the pot while changing pick up and I can do it mid so...

Re: Carpal Tunnel Relief

Hey Patzag. Good to hear from you. Sorry about your ulnar nerve and carpal tunnel. I researched the ulnar nerve situation from shoulder to pinky finger and am thinking it may react positively to this "ball therapy". I did not get a copy of the video that was recorded. I wrote out the expl...

Re: Parker Fly Mojo - Seymour Duncan Pickup Replacement?

From the SD website: Trembuckers vs Humbuckers A standard Humbucker’s pole pieces are built according to a traditional Gibson string spacing of 1.930″ (49mm), measured from the center of the high E string to the center of the low E string at the bridge pickup location. But guitars with tremolo bridg...

Mod edit: Did anyone manage to read through the whole post before they recognized that this was a bot account? I removed the crypto advertisement from the end, but thought to leave this up as an example in case there’s an influx of similar bot accounts posters will need to learn to recognize. Wow. ...

Re: Electronic issue

As I understand this, I will loosen the nut in the cavity, push the jack towards the cap, turn the cap clock-wise so as to thread the jack into the cap, then retighten the nut? Yes. But I find it easier to have the final tightening on the cap end. The nut is hard to reach to tighten. So all your st...

Parker had a tool devised for that purpose. I use a very fine jewelry screwdriver or needle nose pliers. I have used a paperclip for that purpose.

Almost EUR 22k for the Parker Fly Custom "Thor" on Reverb. https://reverb.com/item/70596786-parker-thor-custom-shop-natural-mahogany What are those sellers doing? Deter lowball buyers and simply wait until someone offers enough? I really don't get it. Still nice to see one of the Northern...

Re: Electronic issue

The wireless system was the main culprit for the sound issue, however the output jack is definitely recessed too much. How does one adjust it? There is so little space and rotating the jack would rip the ribbon. It's a little bit delicate, but not too hard to do. There is a nut inside the cavity th...

Re: How many pre-refined Fly Supreme’s were made?

I’ve been looking for a Supreme for a while. Missed one on reverb for 1700 by a couple of hours last year! Stay alert! Yep, there was that Supreme and another one that looks to me like one of the limited run Butternut Fly’s that both sold for $1750 by the the same seller, as well as a white Deluxe....
