For the record - one month in with my first set of Stringjoy!
About the change them now. They lasted a very long time while retaining their essential tone. Very impressed.

I'm not American, so not a Tax expert, but as far as I know, Reverb does not Tax you. They just require the filling of an IRS form (1099?? or some such number). Then it's up to you to prove to the IRS that this sale is not all "profit". Ie: You bought the guitar for $1000.00, resell it for...

Re: STILL THE ONE!
Ok @vjmanzo, you busted me for reference to Still The One song by Orleans, (circa 1975). Had no idea, (or had forgotten) it was used in a hamburger commercial! Would a highly moral songwriter allow this to happen to his song? (Just kidding) You're apparently way younger than I if '96 was your child...

That indicates that it was produced in 2000 as far as I understand. But NFV1 was not produced in 2000. Anyone who can shed a light on that?

Re: STILL THE ONE!
Yes thanks for the info. I found a Pre-refined wiring layout drawing, that looks hand drawn, showing the output jack Tip-Mag Ring-Piezo Sleeve-Ground, for Stereo operation I assume. I also assume the Mono/Stereo red button placed in the Mono position sets the output configuration to be a blend of M...

Re: STILL THE ONE!
A schematic of the pre-amp system would be helpful. Is there one available? I don’t believe one exists as this was a proprietary device by Fishman, but both the original pre-amp and the Powerchip served two main functions: 1) a preamp for the piezo signal and 2) a mixer for the magnetic pickups and...

Re: Anyone selling a Nitefly neck?
Depending on your price, I may be interested. What’s the issue with the truss rod? Is it the nut itself or the thread that the nut attaches to? Hi. I'm not selling it - I can just send it to you if you want it. What is wrong is that at maximum tension, there's still relief. Maybe a pro luthier can ...

Re: Anyone selling a Nitefly neck?
I have a neck which has a somewhat ineffectual truss rod. So it would also need repair. But the frets are sound and the back is in good shape. If that's helpful I can send it to you.

Re: STILL THE ONE!
Hi! My best effort: is using a mono plug with the red button "IN" a valid use case? Very much. I use this ALL the time. Can I assume the MV is global and always controls the guitar output in all cases: Mag or Piezo, Mag and Piezo (3 way switch in any position), Mono or Stereo plug, Red but...

Re: I want a PM-20 but I don't know if it's worth it
I have a PM 20. I think its a great guitar. It has no real similarity with a Parker Fly or Nitefly except that it has almost no heel. But it is a very traditional guitar. Like a slightly smaller, much lighter and more comfortable Les Paul. Still, I like it. It would benefit from a good setup and sta...

Re: Strings - I tried NYXL and was disappointed
They feel a tad stiffer, and they have that "piano string" kind of bell-like tone. Love them.
Definitely not on the cheap side. I'm still on my first set, so I will decide, when they "expire" if they last long enough to be financially viable to use.
I hope so.

Re: Strings - I tried NYXL and was disappointed
I'm going to continue this thread because this is where my search started, but it took a turn recently: I got a couple of packs of Stringjoy strings. .095-46. And oh my! Surprised! They sound awesome, feel great and I fell in love. Perfectly matched to the Parker Fly in my opinion. Can't recommend e...
