Re: How many pre-refined Fly Supreme’s were made?
I’ve been looking for a Supreme for a while. Missed one on reverb for 1700 by a couple of hours last year! Stay alert! Yep, there was that Supreme and another one that looks to me like one of the limited run Butternut Fly’s that both sold for $1750 by the the same seller, as well as a white Deluxe....

Speak to Mark. He will ship as long as you buy with no returns. And insured at your cost.Augustonian wrote: ↑Mon Oct 16, 2023 12:27 amInteresting, that is a good prospect. I'll see if they ship!Patzag wrote: ↑Sun Oct 15, 2023 11:35 pm Here is a prospect.

Thanks Marc. I have a spare 10 spring so I’ll stick it in there and see if it handles. Might do the trick.

Re: Squeaky Trem
Yes, more of a creak. Sounds like an old door!
Allright, I'll do a deep dive when I'm back from a trip I'm taking. I'll be consulting with my local engineer on the lubricant. We have pretty much anything I'd want on hand. It's time I'm short of! I'll report back!
Thanks Marc!

Squeaky Trem
At high gain level, the trem in my classic is a little squeaky.

Re: "Bullwinkle" guitar hanger
The guitar stand I use - same as yours - came with a pair of spacers to make the neck opening smaller - as if to fit a banjo. It is small enough to hold my Fly in place without bullwinkle. The tuner rests on the grip and holds the guitar up. I'll put up a photo when I get a chance.

An Homage to Ken's Archtop work
I stumbled on this ...

I immediately thought "ripoff" but very soon realized this was a work of love, not thievery, and credit was given where it is due.
Beautiful instruments.

Yeah. I'm somewhat surprised you di...

Easy with that ... easily broken!bennyharveys wrote: ↑Wed Sep 27, 2023 5:08 pm Thanks, I will take a look. Its so hard to tell if the solders on the bottom of the saddles are ok because they are so tiny. might just try to redo them regardless.

Re: E/A String Piezo Low Output P38
I don't have a P 38 but based on past piezo experience, I would check the soldering of the Piezo element to the summing plate. In my limited experience, this could be where the problem could be coming from. The other points to check are the soldering point at each saddle.

Well, I guess it happened. After thinking about it for a long time (and even posting about it here a while ago), being too lazy to make a two day trip to the closest shops stocking the brand for testing, and finding absolutely none whatsoever on the used market in my city or area, I ordered...

Re: Electronic issue
Your jack is probably recessed too far into the guitar. The collar has to be screwed in a bit to allow the jack to travel all the way in. Open the backplate to prevent the jack from rotating and ripping the ribbon cable as you tighten the collar. As needed, adjust the nut inside to ensure proper pos...
