Re: Gus's Byzantine Fly Mod

Here's the aforementioned update: The guitar is done except for the new backplate, and testing/powering the sustainer. That part will come in time, once I get around to printing the new backplate. Here are the pictures: PXL_20240204_174255586 (Large).jpgPXL_20240204_174227689 (Large).jpg (just igno...

Re: The Eagle has landed!

Thanks mate. And thanks for the metric conversion. For me the Parker Fly is BY FAR the most ergonomic guitar I've ever played. This one sounds amazing. No it's not exactly like the Hard Tail or the Classic. Very resonant and a little more bass heavy than the Hard Tail. The Piezo sounds delicious. Th...

Re: PM20 Pro Parts

Hello, New to the forum. I recently just purchased a used PM20 and I was hoping to mod the hardware with black, PM20 Pro parts (black locking tuners, black bridge, etc.) Does anyone know of somewhere that I can obtain these parts? I did a quick search here on the forum, but I could not find anythin...

Re: Stuff I found on Craigslist

On Ebay and CL.
Probably can be negotiated.
It looks to be in great shape and possibly could be had sub 2K with a little negotiation.

Thank you all so much. You've been part of my search for a long time now!
She plays as good as she looks. Ands she's quite a bit lighter than my hardtail which is itself quite light. Amazing! This could become my Number One quite easily!

Re: The Eagle has landed!

the trem arm it was shipped with is refined (?) My black '96 was the same. I recall the retrofitting of trem arm bushings and point-to-point rewiring mods becoming fads in the first decade of the USM era, for the sake of bringing "obsolete" Flys up to modern spec; with Ken-era Flys exhibi...

The Eagle has landed!

Lifelong dream come true. A generous friend allowed me to acquire this at a relatively reasonable cost. More than I could afford, but less than the ridiculous prices of the last 3 or 4 years. I've wanted one of these for so long - my screen backdrop was a Parker Artist for decades! It's beautiful. N...

Re: the Anatomy of a Fly

Follow-up on the middle mag pickup selector switch mod to remove the split coil function and make it a normal join of both neck and bridge pickups. Is that mod easy and straight for a novice with a soldering iron or tricky or risky and you'd advise to take it in to a luthier? Extraordinarily easy. ...

Hiyall! I am bumping this now. I was holding on to it for some experiments but I am now officially letting it go. Here are some pictures that show how pretty and well kept it is. I'm keeping the price at $1200.00 but I don't want to list it on Reverb or Ebay if I can avoid it. I hope someone here wi...
