The only problem with the Parkers is that I no longer have the joy of GAS. :D

I really feel you on this, I just somehow cannot muster any excitement for any other guitar. I am completely obsessed with the design, philosophy, and everything Parker.

Re: WTB: Fly Supreme / Spanish Fly Pre Refined

Stalk reverb like VJ and me. Be prepared to act quickly tho. There was a fly concert posted the other day for 1800 and it sold in 13 minutes. I thought I had it and went to check out and the 30 seconds it took to do that it was gone! Happy hunting! 13 minutes??? I’m on Reverb every day and didn’t s...

Re: 1998 Gold Fly

These are beautiful, the gold is more subtle than I thought.

Re: Norse Fly - Odin, Thor & Loki

Oh I actually thought they were all based on the Fly Artist.

Didn’t know Thor was based on a Mojo. Also didn’t realize they were hardtails, without piezo.

Noob question, but I wonder why one would forgo the piezo especially in a presumably top of the line custom?

Norse Fly - Odin, Thor & Loki

Does anybody know where the three Norse Fly guitars went?

As far as I know, only one of each made, named Odin, Thor and Loki.

Just thought it would be interesting to hear from someone who knows about these three guitars, what models they were based on etc.

Re: Painting a Parker Fly

I have some beater Flys I intend to refinish (a few projects down the line) - We’ll see which of us posts their findings first. So far, my plan is to just gut the body, mask off the board/headstock/routs, scuff the poly, and spray opaque colors over it. I have a serial/logo/fret marker template PDF...

Re: Painting a Parker Fly

Thank you so much. I couldn’t have asked for a better or more complete answer.

It’s not something I will rush into. I feel that this would only be worth doing perhaps on an already damaged Fly as a restoration project.

Hopefully should it be realised, I’ll be able to show the results here one day.

Painting a Parker Fly

I have an idea of asking an artist friend to paint over a Parker Fly, but only if I find one online that is very cosmetically damaged. (I wouldn’t dare do so to any that was still fine as is). I’m just wondering, what would be the best way to do so? Is dismantling necessary? Or can one just cover up...

Hi @ahmadimran—so glad you’re here! Thanks for being a part of this! There really should be a warning when you sign up: if you look through the catalogs and various images on this site, you’ll eventually start searching for Flys on eBay and Reverb :P It’s too late! I’m on Reverb and eBay everyday n...

Love this site!

Hi guys!

Registered a while back but took a while to activate my account.

Love all the knowledge being shared here.

Held a friend’s Parker Fly (and a Nitefly) in 1999, and fell in love ever since, but never went for it.

Hopefully will land that elusive one that’s just right for me!
