Re: Recommended polish for fly deluxe
I’ve never used any polish on my Flys; just a little water. I don’t know if there’s a rule about it—as long as nothing chemical-y touches the fingerboard, I think you’re good, as I mentioned: I’ve never used anything other than water. Thanks vjmanzo and jb63 . Yup I read somewhere not to use anythi...

Congrats! A great deal!IdoRollingBurnouts wrote: ↑Tue Mar 23, 2021 11:46 pm I was able to snipe the white ‘93 quickly, got a smoking deal on it! Bit of a deal to finagle but it’s got a forever home; next to my Euro red ‘94, and ‘95 Majik blue hardtails!

Beautiful Parker Fly photography
Chanced upon some beautiful Parker Fly photography here, including that of a rare Parker Fly S2, the black looks luminous! There are photos elsewhere on the site, I believe there are four in total. https://michaelfriedman.co/galleries/226606/guitar-art Also left a note to Michael about this site, in...

Same here, considered it for my painted Parker Fly project, but at the end of the day still want it fully functioning, and without complicated problems.

Re: Concert/Bronze refined vs pre-refined
Thanks VJ! Yes I went through the history post, which I think is fascinating and a must read for all visitors here. Just a theoretical exercise, more about changes made design wise, post 2003, as to my untrained eye there are much less changes made to the Concert, compared to the other models, prett...

Concert/Bronze refined vs pre-refined
Just wondering how much does the refined vs pre-refined discussion affect the Parker Fly Concert/Bronze models as there are no electronics as such. Do they remain mostly the same or are there notable differences such as with the other Fly models?

Great video, and wonderful playing VJ! I thought GASsing for Parker Flys was dangerous enough, this is a whole other level. Magnificent instrument.

Re: Marc Wants To Buy...
I wish my interest in the Fly came about a number of years ago when it seems prices were more consistently in the lower 1000s! Totally agree. I loved them since 1999, followed them over the years but never really pulled the trigger. Guess the Parker forums and website finally going down is what mad...

It’s so beautiful. Is it Sitka Spruce? The colour sort of looks more similar to the Cedar version.

Tracking down Adrian is indeed much easier - He mails everything from his home address, replies to most Facebook messages, and once apologized profusely from his personal email over a minor post office matter that simply wasn’t his fault. I don’t remember why his number is in my phone. Anyway, he s...

Great information, @mmmguitar! Thanks for sharing all of this. I'll just share (somewhat unceremoniously) that one of my personal goals with the Fly Clone Project is for our lab to make Fly "shells": assembled but unfinished bodies with composite fretted-fretboards and exoskeleton attache...

Re: Hello from Spain! Can you help me?(Solved!)
The day they closed Parker's bussines made me sad... I'd have loved to see this brand getting the recognition they deserve. just bought a trans blue fly standard from 98‘ ... so rar this color for standard fly... think only two years available ...if ... only color is trans red for the standard fly....
