Re: “What’s This Worth?” Thread

Pretty sure there are only, like, 10 or 20 of those KOA ones made by USM.
I asked about them once and they were REALLY expensive when they came out.

Just be sure to Play it. Play it all the time. If not post it for $10,000 or something ridiculous and play a different one every day.

Re: “What’s This Worth?” Thread

Thanks for making me worry even more!

:?

Unfortunately I was hoping that the newly-funded IRS would go after Billionaires, Millionaires & Thousandaires.

Instead, now I assume they want my guitar-playing $600.

Re: “What’s This Worth?” Thread

Here's an interesting question. (It may require a new thread, so lets do that if we decide) Up until last year (?) selling your guitar or other instruments on eBay or Reverb didn't come with the taxes and kinds of fees that it does now. Now reverb will take your selling money from the purchaser and ...

Re: Modifying a Southern Nitefly

The southern is one of the easiest pickup swaps to do, plus there are a bunch of original pick guards available on eBay.

Here is my unsolicited pickup advice:

Re: Selling a NiteFly

If you don't need the money from a sale, I'd go for the maiming idea. Reeves is quoted somewhere asking Ken to keep cutting out holes to make it lighter, so i kind of think the Nitefly body is a perfect project item. Just be careful because its weighted perfectly and you you need to keep that. What ...

DragonFly/MaxxFly truss rod tool

Apparently, I don't have a tool that fits.
Does anybody regularly adjust their USA MaxxFly necks and can point me towards a wrench that will do the trick?
I can't believe my searching was in vain, but we can post it here to help whomever is next!

Thanks!

the momentary up/down switch on mine is a normal sized three-way toggle, not the mini-toggle looking one included in that kit. I actually would love to have a source for the momentary switch as well if someone is in the know.
I would also like to have that part! I have not found one yet.

Re: Why aren't Ken Parker's innovations being used today?

I love this thread and all the implications, but I have to also point out that the history of Rock & Roll is that most guitars are cheap and the admission price of getting a band together was more sweat than $. This will likely remain the purpose of the guitar until the collapse is upon us, so w...
