Toxic is a good name for that color.
Here in Florida, the sugar cane farmers pollute the water, and every few years we have toxic algae blooms that are fairly close to that color green.
BTW, it's a great looking guitar.

It's not as crowded as the official forum was, but there are a lot of familiar names here, and it's still friendly.

Re: Could Parker guitars return?
I'd love to see Parker guitars come back, but alas, I don't see that happening (yet). It seems they were ahead of their time and people just didn't appreciate what great guitars they are. Perhaps if a big name like Gibson, Ibanez, or Fender would make something like that, people would have been more...

Re: WANTED: PM20 Pro
Hey Notes! Nice to see you hanging here again. Thanks. I've been working on 20 new styles for Band-in-a-Box and a half dozen fake e-disks. Very, very time-consuming. We haven't been gigging due to COVID, so it's our attempt to make up for some lost income. The gigs are starting to come back, but su...

Re: Top horn
I love the horn. Yes it's a pain in the plexus, but I think it looks cool and distinctive. And the balance is fantastic. Everybody has different tastes. Nothing wrong with that. My DF also has fantastic balance. It's more like wearing the guitar than holding it. I suspect most Parkers are like that...

HNGD in advance, the PM20-Pro in white is a fine looking guitar.

Re: Top horn
The top horn was the dealbreaker for me as well. IMO it's just plain fugly. I was still toying around with the idea when the DF series came along, and now I have two and Mrs.Notes has one. We've sold or given away most of our other guitars. Since we play for a living, we only need a pair and a spare...

Re: Looking for Parker Hornet
Thanks. I'm just following the "do unto others" suggestion. ADDITION TO CONDITION DESCRIPTION... The gig bag has never been used, but we noticed a defect in one of the handles. Sorry, we didn't notice it before taking the picture. :( Mrs.Notes will repair that, so it doesn't break, but it ...

Re: Looking for Parker Hornet
Thanks. If ilanberman doesn't want it, I'll move it to the classified section. If that doesn't do it I'll try Reverb. There is no sense keeping it when she likes the DF much better. Like me she plays more than one instrument (she plays guitar and synth) so a lighter guitar is a blessing. After 3 or ...

Re: Looking for Parker Hornet
Here it is. It's not a closet queen, it's a gigging guitar and is in very good shape for one this old (I think she bought it in 2004). It has some dings and fret wear, zero belt rash, and from a foot or two away you can't see the dings. I photographed as many as would show up. There are a few smalle...

Re: How much is a PM10 worth?
I use the ES-330 at home when I want to just pick up a guitar and play without an amp. It had OK tone for a thin bodied archtop. It's nice to have an acoustic, especially when working out chords for a new song I might be learning. The Parker DF522NN fits me perfectly, it's balanced, contoured (comfo...

Re: How much is a PM10 worth?
Thanks. I'll let her know. Mrs. Notes is a "get rid of it if I'm not using it" person, and Mr. Notes is "Keep everything because you'll never know when I'll need it." Fortunately we are so compatible otherwise that we overlook those flaws in our respective personalities. :) Gigs ...

How much is a PM10 worth?
How much is a PM10 worth? Mrs. Notes never plays her PM10 since I got her the Dragonfly/Maxxfly so she is thinking of putting it up for sale. How much are these things worth (low to high depending on condition)??? We have no idea how much to ask. I looked at e-bay and reverb and only saw one on ebay...
