A beautiful piece of music. The more times I hear it, the more nuances and theme variations I hear, and the better it gets.

Re: Broken plastic where vibrato inserts into the tail.
<...snip...> Do you think this would work? https://www.mcmaster.com/spacers/unthreaded-spacers/system-of-measurement~inch/od~3-8/material~plastic/color~black/length~1-1-2/for-screw-size~no-10/ They arrived yesterday It works better than nothing. It's a bit longer, so it sticks out of the guitar a b...

Re: Broken plastic where vibrato inserts into the tail.
Hell yeah, @billy! Count me in! 👍🏻 The pre-refined set screw on the parts has the nylon tip—would that work with your design? https://www.mscdirect.com/product/details/67278721 That’s the size/length @Ken Parker used. That doesn't look like it will work on the Dragonfly. Thanks anyway. Notes ♫

Re: Broken plastic where vibrato inserts into the tail.
I finally got the old one out. It appears to be almost 1 1/2" long by 3/8". The last try was drilled for a #8 screw, which was too small, so I guess #10 would work. I don't see a #9 anywhere at McMaster. I tried gluing the old piece, but that didn't work. I tried a couple of different kind...

Re: Broken plastic where vibrato inserts into the tail.
Well, the ones from McMaster didn't fit. Although I put my arm through a #8 washer, it didn't fit in the spacers I got from McMaster that were supposed to be sized for a #8 screw. Perhaps they wanted the screw to bite into them. I'd gladly purchase one from you if you have any spares. I suppose if P...

Re: Broken plastic where vibrato inserts into the tail.
Disappointment. :( The item from Home Depot has the same SKU number, but it's just a thin tube, looking nothing like the picture. Instead, the hole in the middle is 1/2" in diameter. Went right to the store too and looked in the drawers, nothing close is in the store close to me. I hesitate to ...

Re: Broken plastic where vibrato inserts into the tail.
Thank you VERY much. We have a bunch of St Pat parties so I think I'll wait until next week as we only have 3 gigs then. I can live without the whammy for a weekend.

Re: Broken plastic where vibrato inserts into the tail.
Thanks again.
So what do I do? Ream the remaining plastic part out of the aluminum and then insert the new?
If so, are there any good ways to get the old out?
I'm completely inexperienced about this.

Home depot says 'The product you are trying to view is not currently available.' so unfortunately, I can't even see what it looks like.
I'll check eBay.

Broken plastic where vibrato inserts into the tail.
The plastic part of the vibrato mechanism where the bar inserts broke. I tried using some plastic glue, but it didn't hold.
Any ideas?
Thanks,

Re: P90 Pickups
Here are my other P90 guitars http://www.nortonmusic.com/GuitarCousins3.JPG I played the Gibson for over a year, got a gig on a deck over a salt-water lagoon and didn't want to abuse the Gibson so I bought the Casino. When I got my custom Parker with Duncan P-Rails, I gave the Casino to Mrs. Notes (...

P90s
There is more than one right way to make music. I played P90s exclusively for over a year. I had a Gibson ES330 and an LTD Less Paul (pun intended) that I put GFS Mean 90s in. After playing nothing but P90s, everything else just sounds dull. The guitar doesn't respond to the variations of my picking...

Happy Birthday to my Dragonfly/Maxxfly
November 23 (tomorrow) my 524NS is 11 years old. It doesn't seem that long. Here is the story. Mrs. Notes also plays guitar, and at the time, I was playing an LTD Less Paul that I put GFS Mean 90 pickups and a varitone on. It played nicely, had a fast neck, but weighed a ton. My wife told me, "...
