in the meantime, I picked up a spare piezo saddle on ebay as a replacement if it ends up being more than the solder connection..

so I changed strings and replaced the battery with a fresh one - I even blew compressed air in and around the saddle .. but the scratchiness still remains - going to open it up this week and check connections..

Hi, It's very hard to find #9 and #10 springs for the tremolo system on the Parker Fly. You can still get #11 and #12 springs on Ebay or Reverb. The piezo saddles are all connected to the bridge with a band of solder and its possible that those 2 strings need resoldering. That would be my guess.
